4. Setting Communication Values

You need to set the printer communic ation values to match your

host’s online communica tions. Before entering the

communication values, see your S ystem Administrator.

The communication values ar e shown below. The default

values are in bold.

Baud rate 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600

Word length 7 or 8

Stop bits 1 or 2

Parity Odd, Even, None

Flow control None, Xon/Xoff, DTR

Follow these steps to set communication values.

1. From the Main Menu, press or until you see
