CONFIG Commands

This section describes the keywords and arguments for the various CONFIG commands.

Remote ATA Conﬁguration Commands

Motorola Netopia® ﬁrmware supports conﬁguration of a maximum of four Motorola Netopia® ATA pro-

ﬁles, which are stored in the Gateway’s conﬁguration database. When a Motorola Netopia® ATA is dis- covered, the Gateway compares the MAC address of the ATA with one of the existing proﬁles stored in

the database. If there is a match, the conﬁguration is downloaded to the Motorola Netopia® ATA, and

the ATA is restarted. Once the Motorola Netopia® ATA is restarted, it comes up with the newly down- loaded conﬁguration.

set ata proﬁle [ 0... 3 ] ata-option [ on off ]

Enables or disables the remote ATA conﬁguration option for the speciﬁed ATA conﬁguration proﬁle to be stored in the Gateway.

set ata proﬁle [ 0... 3 ] ata-mac-addr MAC_addr

Speciﬁes the MAC address of the ATA for the speciﬁed conﬁguration proﬁle.

set ata proﬁle [ 0... 3 ] ata-qos-enable [ on off ]

Enables or disables QoS for the speciﬁed proﬁle.

set ata proﬁle [ 0... 3 ] ata-dhcpc-enable [ on off ]

Enables or disables DHCP client service for the speciﬁed proﬁle.

set ata proﬁle [ 0... 3 ] ata-dhcpc-hostname string

Speciﬁes a DHCP client hostname for the speciﬁed proﬁle.

set ata proﬁle [ 0... 3 ] ata-dhcpc-vid-enable [ off on ]

Enables or disables a DHCP client vendor ID for the speciﬁed proﬁle.

set ata proﬁle [ 0... 3 ] ata-dhcpc-vid string

Speciﬁes a vendor ID for the speciﬁed proﬁle when ata-dhcpc-vid-enableis on.

set ata proﬁle [ 0... 3 ] ata-static-wan-ip ip_addr

Speciﬁes a static WAN IP address for the speciﬁed proﬁle.

set ata proﬁle [ 0... 3 ] ata-static-wan-subnet-mask subnet_mask

Speciﬁes a static WAN IP subnet mask for the speciﬁed proﬁle.
