the ground for the device.The A/D co nverter(ADC) of your device
measurest his output voltage when it performs A/D conversions.
Referenceall signals to ground either at the source device or at the device.
If you havea floating source, reference the signal to ground by using the
RSEinput mode or the DIFF input configuration with bias resistors (see the
DifferentialConnections for Nonreferenced or FloatingS ignal Sources
section). If you havea grounded source, do not reference the signal to
AIGND. Youcan avoid this reference by using DIFF or NRSE input
configurations.
Analog Input Signal ConnectionsThe following sections discuss the use of single-ended and DIFF
measurements and recommendations for measuring both floating and
ground-referenced signal sources.
Figure 4-4 summarizes the recommended input configuration for both
types of signal sources.
