AOGNDis the ground reference signal for both analog output channels and
theexternal reference signal. Figure 4 -9 showshow to make analog output
connections to your device.

Digital I/O Signal ConnectionsAll Devices
Alldevices have digital I/O signals DIO<0..7> and DGND. DIO<0..7> are
the signals making up the DIO port, and DGND is the ground-reference
signalfor the DIO port. You can program all lines individ ually as inputs or
outputs. Figure 4-10 shows signal connections for three typical digital I/O
applications.
Caution Exceedingthe maximum input voltage ratings, which are listed in Table 4-2, can
damage the DAQdevice and the computer. National Instruments is not liable for any
damages resulting from such signal connections.
