Envelope Feeder
An envelope feeder allows you to print on envelopes.

This feeder is available only for the upper media tray.
1In the printer driver, select Thick Stock.
2On the control panel, press the Media key to select printing on thick stock,
if necessary.
3Place the envelopes on a flat surface, and flatten them by pressing down
the corners.
4Flex the envelope stack (including the edges) to remove any stiffness.
5Correct any bent corners, and
then tap the envelopes on a flat
surface to align them.
6Remove the upper media tray
from the printer (and remove any
media in the tray).
The envelope feeder can be
installed only in the upper
media tray.
