Example devices are telephones, fax machines, answering machines, and caller ID displays. Not every phone line in your home necessarily carries ADSL service. That depends on the ADSL service setup in your home.
Note: Often the ADSL microfilter is included in the box with the wireless modem router. If you purchased the WiFi modem router in a country where a microfilter is not included, you have to acquire the ADSL microfilter separately.
One-Line ADSL Microfilter (Not Included)
Plug the ADSL microfilter into the wall outlet and plug your phone equipment into the jack labeled Phone. The wireless modem router plugs directly into a separate ADSL line. Plugging the wireless modem router into the phone jack blocks the Internet connection.
