Auto Sort Mode
Pictures are automatically sorted into
categories, such as portraits, landscapes, and
movies.
If you tap F Auto sort using the procedure
described in “Switching Between Playback
Modes” (A71), the category selection screen
is displayed. Tap a category to play b ack
pictures in the selected category.
•If you tap the d tab in full-frame or thumbnail playback mode, you can select
the playback options (A73).
Auto Sort Mode Categories
* Pictures taken in G (easy auto) mode (A36) are also sorted to the appropriate categories.
Category Description
ZSmile Pictures taken in smart portrait mode (A50) with the smile timer
setting set to On.
DPortraits
Pictures taken in A (auto) mode (A37) with the face detection.
Pictures taken in Portrait*, Night portrait*, Party/indoor, and
Backlighting* scene modes (A40).
Pictures taken in smart portrait mode (A52) with the smile timer
setting set to Off.
uFood Pictures taken in Food scene mode (A40).
ULandscape Pictures taken in Landscape* scene mode (A40).
VDusk to dawn Pictures taken in Night landscape*, Sunset, Dusk/dawn, and
Fireworks show scene modes (A40).
DClose-ups
Pictures taken in A (auto) mode with the macro mode setting
(A58).
Pictures taken in Close-up* scene mode (A40).
OPet portrait Pictures taken in Pet portrait scene mode (A48).
DMovie Movies (A82). Movies created using the movie editing function
(E47).
XRetouched copies Copies created using editing functions (A73).
WOther scenes All other pictures that cannot be defined by the categories
