Default Settings

The default settings for each function in each shooting mode are described below.

•See the next page for informa tion about the default settings in the scene

modes.

1a Auto (default setting) or c Off can be selected. When a Auto is selected, the camera

automatically selects the flash mode appropriate for the scene it has selected.

2The setting cannot be changed. The camera enters macro mode when i is selected.

3The function cannot be used when Blink proof is set to On.

4The function can be used when Smile timer is set to Off.

5The setting cannot be changed.

•The setting applied in A (auto) mode is saved in the camera’s memory even

after the camera is turned off (except the self-timer setting).
