dProtect

Protect selected pictures from accidental deletion. Protected pictures are recognized by the sicon in playback mode (A8).

Protecting One Picture

1 Select the picture to be protected in
full-frame playback mode, tap the
dtab, and tap d.
2 Tap On.	Protect
• The selected picture is protected, and the	Off
On
monitor display returns to the protect setting
screen.
• To continue protecting another picture, drag
the current picture.
• To exit without protecting pictures, tap J.

Note that formatting the camera’s internal memory or the memory card will permanently delete protected files (E89).
