Step 5 Play Back Pictures

1Tap the playback mode icon (c).

The camera enters playback mode, and the last picture taken is displayed in full-frame playback mode.

To play back pictures that are saved in the internal memory, remove the memory card. Cis displayed in place of the “current picture number/total number of pictures” indicator.

When a certain type of pictures is selected for playback (A70), the total number of pictures in the selected type is displayed as the “total number of pictures.”

2Drag the current picture to display the previous or next picture.

To display the previous picture, drag the picture to the right or tap G.

To display the next picture, drag the picture to the left or tap H.

Hold G or Hto scroll backward or forward through the pictures.

Tap the shooting mode icon (G) displayed at upper left in the monitor or press the shutter-release button to return to shooting mode.

CViewing Pictures

The previous or next picture may appear briefly at low resolution immediately after it is dragged into view.

When using playback mode, pictures are automatically rotated for display according to the orientation when they are taken. The orientation of pictures can be changed using Rotate image (A73).

Each series of pictures taken using continuous shooting is saved in a sequence, and by default, only the first picture in the sequence (key picture) is displayed to represent them (A74, 90). Tap R to display them as individual pictures.
