Arrow keys

Use these keys to select a de- sired setting option or to enter a desired name or value in the PROGRAM mode or COMM. Option.

PRINTER key

Use this key to adjust the printer settings or perform printing au- tomatically.

MAIN MENU key

Press this key to switch from the PROGRAM mode to the MAIN MENU. (COPY, FAX or SCAN mode.)

PROGRAM key

Use this key to program the ini- tial settings and default settings in the FAX mode.

INTERRUPT key and INTERRUPT lamp

This key and lamp are not used in the FAX mode.

SUPER ENERGY SAVER key and SUPER ENERGY SAVER lamp

Press this key to enter or exit the Super Energy Saver Mode. Illuminated when the facsimile is in the Super Energy Saver Mode.

FUNCTION CLEAR key

Clear all items selected in the FAX mode such as COMM. Op- tion.

CLEAR/STOP key

Use this key to correct the di- aled remote FAX number when sending an original or to stop an operation.

START key

Press this key to start scanning of the originals to the memory or direct TX.

Dial keypad

Use these keys to enter a tele- phone/facsimile number or to set the ID number, etc.

Used to enter the item numbers for the selection in “PROGRAM MODE” and “COMM OPTIONS.”

SET key

Use this key to accept the data	1
that you have entered in the

PROGRAM mode or COMM.

Option.

CANCEL key

Use this key to return to a pre- vious menu in the PROGRAM mode or COMM. Option.

IMAGE MODE key

You can switch between the image modes (Photo, Text/ Photo and Photo) for scanning. The lamp of the currently se- lected image mode illuminates.

Message Display Panel The Message Display Panel in- dicates the FAX status. It also shows you the operational pro- cedures or settings by a brief sentence or icons
