Memory RX ( See page 2-35.)

This digital copier stores the information of received originals to memory to ensure communications even if a problem (e.g. a paper jam or no more paper in the digital copier) occurs during reception and prevents the originals from being printed. If an original is received, for example, when the digital copier is out of paper, the received original is automatically stored to memory.

Polling RX ( See pages 3-25 and 3-26.)

You ask the remote FAX for transmission, and receive the original that is stored in the remote FAX’s memory.

The polling reception has:

1)Individual polling reception

2)Multi-polling reception

A password can be used (if the remote facsimile is a Toshiba fax).

RX reduction ( See page 4-44.)

This mode allows the reduction of the received image if the received original is larger than the recording paper.

Secure RX ( See page 4-39.)

This mode allows you to receive the originals to memory until a security code is entered.

Privileged RX ( See page 4-45.)

This mode prevents your FAX from receiving originals from unknown parties.
