•Before carrying out FAX operations, be sure to switch over to the FAX mode.

•You can set up the machine so it will default to the FAX MODE upon turning on the power. For the details, please ask your service personnel.

Tip

•If you leave the digital copier inactive for about 45 seconds, the digital copier automatically returns to the copying mode (Default setting).

•You can switch over to the FAX mode while the digital copier is in the sleep mode.
