Pause Key

When you are dialing to an outside line via a PBX, it may take a moment or two to be connected after dialing an access digit (e.g. “9”).

In this case, press the

key to enter a pause after the

“9”. This enters a pause before the remainder of the number

is dialed.

Tone Key

This key is used to send a tone signal, for example, to access information services such as fax on-demand system, voice menus, etc.

If you are using dial pulse (DP) dialing, the last number entered

after pressing the key becomes a tone signal.

For details on how to receive information services, contact the service provider.
