Temporary Direct TX

•Even if the Memory TX Mode is selected as the Default, you may desire to transmit a specific original(s) in the Direct TX Mode.

•This feature is useful when the document consists of many pages or the when the residual memory is too small.

1 Press the		key.
2	Place the original.
	• For details on how to place the originals on the original glass.

3	Set the Scanning conditions. ( See pages 2-10 to
	2-15.)
4 Press the		key.

5 Select the desired Direct TX Option.

• To select “1.YES”, press	key.
• To select “1.NO”, press	key.

•To cancel setting midway, press the key.

6 Dial the remote FAX number. ( See pages 2-16 to 2-21.)

•The remote FAX is dialed immediately, and communications is started.

•A group cannot be designated as a remote FAX number.
