Off-hook Dialing (External Telephone)

 

1 Press the

key.

 

2 Pick up the handset of an external telephone.

Enter the remote telephone number using the

 

3 keypad of the External Telephone.

 

•The dial number is not displayed on the Message Display when dialing from the External Telephone.

Sending a Tone

•Tone services can be used even on pulse dial lines.

Press the key.

To receive a tone service, press the switch over to tone transmission.

Tip

How to Receive FAX Information Services

1.Pick up the handset and specify the FAX information service number.

2.When the line is connected to the service, you will hear a pre-recorded announcement. Follow the instructions in the announcement, and enter numbers as necessary. When

the telephone line is a dial pulse line, the service cannot be

used as it is. So, press the key before you enter the service codes to enable tone transmission.

3. Press the

key, check that the message “RECEIVE”

is displayed before you press the

 

key and replace the

 

handset.
