Setting Up an Open Mailbox

In order to carry out ITU-T communications, you must first set up an Open Mailbox in the mailbox hub. You can set up a maximum of 100 Confidential and Bulletin Board boxes.

	2 Press the	key (on the Function key panel).

3 To select “4. MAILBOX SETUP”, press .

4 To select “2. MAILBOX SETUP”, press .

5	Select the Mailbox Type.
	•	To select “Confidential”, press	.
	•	To select “Bulletin Board”, press	.

6 Enter the mailbox number.

7 Select the password option.

• If you selected the Confidential Box in Step 5, a password must be used if the document is to be retrieved remotely. The remote facsimile will require its operator to enter this password before being able to retrieve the document.

• If you selected the Bulletin Board Box in Step 5, assigning a password will require a password to be entered before any documents can be reserved into the Bulletin Board Box.

8 Enter the password.

• The password indicated with *’s.

• The setup is completed and the display returns to the screen in Step 4.
