Security TX (Transmission) Setting

This function allows transmissions only when the number you dial matches the number programmed in the remote facsimile. If the numbers do not match, Security TX prevents your facsimile from sending by indicating a transmission error.

Display the SECURITY TX Menu.

Press: then

Select the Security TX option.

•To select Security TX OFF, press .

•To select Security TX ON, press .

Temporary Security TX Change

This function allows you to change the Security TX selection for a single transmission.

1 Press the key.

2 Place the original.

•For details on how to place the originals on the glass.

( See page 2-8.)

3 Set the scanning conditions. ( See pages 2-10 to 2-15.)

4 Press the key to display the COMM. OPTIONS.

1.SECURITY TX	:OFF
2.ECM	:ON
3.LONG ORIGINAL	:OFF
4.LINE MONITOR	:OFF

5 To select “1. SECURITY TX,” press .

6	Select the Security TX option.
	• To select Security TX OFF, press	.
	• To select Security TX ON, press	.

7 Specify the remote FAX. ( See pages 2-16 to 2-21.)
