14. USING THE TELEPHONE

On-hook Dialing

The external telephone is needed.

1 Press the			key.
2 Press the				key.
3	Dial the remote telephone number.
	(	See pages 2-16 to 2-21.)
	Note
	Each press of a digital key dials a number.
	So, if you make a mistake when dialing the remote FAX
	number, press the				key to cut the line, press the

key again and redial.

4 Pick up the handset of the attached external telephone.

5 Press the key on the control panel and start talking.
