3Select the port from the port list or type the port number.

4Set the number of buckets. The default is 50.

5Set the interval.

The default is 1800 seconds.

6Type the owner, the network management system that created this entry.

7Click Insert.

RMON collects statistics using the index, port, bucket, and interval that you specified.

Disabling history

To disable RMON history on a port:

1From the Device Manager main menu, choose RMON > Control.

The RMONControl dialog box opens with the History tab displayed (Figure 60 on page 126).

2Highlight the row that contains the port ID you want to delete.

3Click Delete.

The entry is removed from the table.
