Table 6-34describes the commands used to configure Common Internal Spanning Tree (CIST) parameters. The CIST provides compatibility with different MSTP regions and with devices running different Spanning Tree instances. It is equivalent to Spanning Tree Group 0.

Command Syntax and Usage

brg

Displays the CIST Bridge Menu. To view menu options, see page 224.

port <port alias or number>

Displays the CIST Port Menu. To view menu options, see page 225.

add <VLAN numbers>

Adds selected VLANs to the CIST.

default

Resets all CIST parameters to their default values.

cur

Displays the current CIST configuration.
