Answering a call

Follow this procedure to answer a call. Incoming calls cause the telephone to ring and the Message Indicator lamp to flash.

The IP Phone 2001 does not have a hands-free feature. You do not press the not press the Line key to answer a call. You can press the Line during a call to continue to listen to the caller, but you must use the handset to speak to the caller.

Prerequisites

You must be logged on.

Step Action

1When the terminal rings, lift the handset.

2Speak into the handset .
