The time is displayed in the selected format. You return to the previous screen.

Defining the date format

Follow this procedure to set the format the terminal uses to display the current date. The month (mmm) is displayed using an abbreviated name, Oct for example, and not a number.

The date format choices are:

mmmdd

ddmmm

mm/dd

dd/mm

Prerequisites

You must be logged on.

Procedure Steps

Step Action

1From the main menu, open the Settings menu.

2Form the Settings menu, open the Regional menu.

3From the Regional menu, select Time.

4Press Ok.

The Time menu opens.

5From the Time menu, select Date Format.

6Press Ok.

The Date Format screen appears.

7Scroll through the Date Format options to select the format you want your terminal to use.

A check mark appears beside the format currently used by the terminal.

8To disable the currently selected format, press Clear.

9To enable a format, scroll to the format, and press Ok.

A check mark appears beside the option, to indicate that it is enabled.

10Press Ok.
