Description of settings

 

 

UPCON MODE

This is used to select the aspect ratio for up-conversion to HD-SDI output.

 

S-PANEL:

 

The magnification is changed while matching the input size to the output size along

 

the vertical axis. (The aspect ratio is unchanged.)

 

CROP:

 

The magnification is changed while matching the input size to the output size along

 

the horizontal axis. (The aspect ratio is unchanged.)

 

STRETCH:

 

The magnification is changed while matching the input size to the output size along

 

the horizontal and vertical axis. (The aspect ratio may be distorted.)

EDGE CROP

This is used to set the cutting position of down-converted SD-SDI output and VIDEO

 

output images when the setting menu “DOWNCON MODE” is set to “SIDE CROP”.

 

–120 ~ 0 ~ +120

 

<Note>

 

LCD monitor remains in “LETTER BOX” size.

WFM

This is used to switch the display of the waveform monitor.

 

OFF:

 

No display

 

WAVE:

 

Wave shape display

 

VECTOR:

 

Vector display

 

When WFM is assigned to [USER], the setting value circulates as follows.

 

• When the WFM setting value is OFF:

 

OFF → WAVE → VECTOR → OFF…

 

• When the WFM setting value is WAVE:

 

OFF → WAVE → OFF…

 

• When the WFM setting value is VECTOR:

 

OFF → VECTOR → OFF…

 

<Note>

 

Even when the WFM display is switched on [USER], the “WFM” setting value remains

 

the same.

REC COUNTER

This is used to select the counter operation during recording.

 

TOTAL:

 

Counting continues until it is reset on [RESET].

 

CLIP:

 

The counter is reset when the shooting starts, then counts the time of the shooting

 

unit.

 

<Note>

 

This is displayed only during recording standby or recording.

CARD FUNCTIONS screen

SD CARD FORMAT

This is used to format SD cards. (Page 33)
