Outputting images to an external monitor for playback

You can connect an external monitor to the output connector of the unit, output clips to the external monitor and play them back on the monitor.

Setting the outputs

1 Hold down [POWER] for at least 1 second to turn the power on. 2 Press [THUMBNAIL/MODE].

The normal display screen appears.

3 Press [MENU/MODE CHK].

4 Using	and	, select “AV OUT SETUP” setting item, and press .
5 Using	and	, select the setting, and press .

6 Press [MENU/MODE CHK] to end the procedure.

Adjusting the output volume level during recording and playback

The volume level of the sound from the speaker or headphone jack can be adjusted by pressing during recording or playback.

and when the thumbnail display screen is displayed. Refer to AV OUT SETUP screen on page 99.

•ALT function must be assigned to [ALT/3] on the setting menu “SW MODE” (Page 97).

Adjusting the output volume level during variable-speed playback

The volume level of the sound from the speaker or headphone jack can be adjusted by pressing [ALT/3]

and during variable-speed playback. Refer to AV OUT SETUP screen on page 99.
