2.2 Hardware Version

The unit hardware model and version is printed on the type plate. Two different hardware models are available:

Model 1: "FP Web-Server" Unit (FP-WEB)

The hardware version 1.2 (available since 2003) is identical to hardware version 1.1 except that the pin assignment of the 9-pin RS232C connector was optimized and the UL approval sign is printed on the unit label.

The latest hardware version is 1.3 (available since the beginning of 2006). It is identical to hardware version 1.2 but with the Panasonic Logo and RoHS conformity.

Model 2: "FP Web-Server2" Unit (FP-WEB2)

Version 1.0 of this new hardware model will be available at the end of 2006. The following table presents a brief comparison of the two models.
