You can view and change this unit’s Device name (SSID), which is used for operating this unit as a
wireless access point.

1Touch [INPUT], and enter the desired Device name (SSID).

Input up to 20 characters are recommended. All the c haracters cannot be confirmed when
displaying the Device names on this unit if a long Device name is used. (l169)

2Touch [EXIT].

If you are going to connect directly to a smartphone a fter changing the Device name (SSID), set
the connection again with the changed Device name ( SSID). (l169)
The Password entered during the setting of direct conn ection cannot be changed. (l169)
You can change or check your wireless LAN’s network settings, such as the [IP Address], [S ubnet
Mask] and [MAC Address].
If you touch [AUTO], the network settings are configured automatically. If you touch [MANUA L],
you can set each item. Select the item you want to set, and set it.
[MAC Address] cannot be changed.
You can test the connection between this unit and the wireless access p oint. The following
connections can be verified:
jConnection to the wireless access point
jConnection to “LUMIX CLUB”
jConnection to USTREAM
jConnection to the home monitor server

1Touch [NEXT].

The connection test starts.

2Check the connection test result, and touch [EXIT].

If the connection is successful, “±” is displayed. If the connection is no t successful, “t” is
displayed.
To test the connection to “LUMIX CLUB” or USTREAM, you need to make other settings in
