The Self-Timer allows you to capture an image about 10 seconds after pressing the shutter.

Before you begin

Set the POWER Switch to		(REC)
or	(MANUAL REC).	(See pages
15, 16.)Press MENU		to display the

1 Press					or	to select				SELF
		TIMER and				press	or		to select		ON .
		This puts the camera in self-timer
		mode.

	SET :			EXIT : MENU			SET :			EXIT : MENU
		• After ON is selected and MENU is
		pressed,				mark will appear on the
		LCD	Viewfinder. (See page				9.)

2 Press MENU to exit this menu mode.

3 Press SHUTTER.

•The Self-Timer Indicator lights up. The indicator starts flashing rapidly after about 8 seconds and the image is captured about 2 seconds later.

•The Self-Timer setting returns to OFF mode each time an image is

captured. Repeat these steps each time Self-Timer is used.
