Using Optical Viewfinder

In addition to using the LCD Viewfinder,

 

you can also use the Optical Viewfinder to

 

 

frame and capture images.

 

 

Using the Optical Viewfinder will prolong

 

 

battery life.

 

 

Before you begin

 

 

Set the POWER Switch to

Frame the image you want to capture within the recording area guide marks on the Optical Viewfinder.

When 2X, 3X (ZOOM) is selected, use the LCD Viewfinder to confirm the

image.

• The active LCD Viewfinder image will

 

 

 

have a slightly degraded appearance

 

 

 

when compared to a captured or

 

 

 

transferred image. This is

normal.
