MemoryMemory CardCard

Inserting the Memory Card*:

*Memory Card : MultiMediaCard or SD Memory Card

The captured images will be stored on this Memory Card.

Be sure to insert the Memory Card before using the camera.

Below is a list of memory cards which can be used in this camera.

Note

Do not bend, drop, apply high pressure or subject the card to strong shocks.

Do not store it in places with high temperature, high humidity, a lot of dust, or static electricity and strong electromagnetic waves.

Keep the card’s contacts free from dust, water or other foreign substances. Do not touch them with your fingers, etc.

Do not disassemble or deform the card.

Be sure to make a backup copy of important data.

Make sure that you do not insert the card in the wrong direction.

1 Set POWER OFF

before inserting the

Memory card.

 

2 Slide the DOOR OPEN Switch to open the cover.

Insert the Memory Card, upper surface side up, into the card slot as shown by arrow.

3 Push the card fully into Memory Card Slot.

Removing the Memory Card:

Set POWER OFF

before removing the

Memory card. Slide the DOOR OPEN Switch to open the cover. Push the Memory Card, so the Card pops out. (Be careful not to drop the card.)

Do not, under any circumstances, eject the card immediately after pressing the Shutter Button (during recording of an image) or while deleting (when “PLEASE WAIT” is displayed). This could damage the format of the card and make it unusable.

“NO MEMORY CARD” will appear on the LCD Viewfinder and the POWER LED

Lamp will flash when the Memory Card is not inserted.

“MEMORY CARD ERROR” will appear

on the LCD Viewfinder and the POWER LED Lamp will flash if the Memory Card is defective.
