Several camera images can be mixed together through a camera switcher and then recorded separately onto several VCRs. To do so, assign a camera to each VCR. The VCR records only the camera image assigned to it. This allows recording without gaps.

If you have three VCRs, the video signals from the three cameras can be recorded separately by connecting the switcher as shown below.

The programming procedure is as follows:

1.Set REC IN on the Rear Terminal menu to SERIES or REC-START/STOP on VCR1.

2.Set CLOCK OUT on the Rear Terminal menu to T/L-REC and F on VCR1.

3.Set REC IN on the Rear Terminal menu to SYNC REC for all VCRs except VCR1.

If the switcher has a recording start signal, set REC IN on the Rear Ter- minal menu to SYNC REC on VCR1. Then, VCR1 will always record the picture from camera 1.

You must set the recording mode to L18H mode.

The suitable numbers of VCRs and cameras are shown in Table F.
