Adjusting source levels
SLA(source level adjustment) lets you adjust
thevolume level of each source to prevent ra-
dicalchanges in volume when switching be-
tweensources.
!Settingsare based on the FM volume level,
whichremains unchanged.
1 Comparethe FM volume level with the
levelof the source you wish to adjust.
2 TouchNEXT on the audio function
menu.
3 TouchSLA.
4 Pressaor bto adjust the source vo-
lume.
Eachtime you press aor bit increases or de-
creasesthe source volume.
+4to 4is displayed as the source volume is
increasedor decreased.
Notes
!TheAM volume level can also be adjusted
withsource level adjustments.
!VideoCD, CD and compressed audio are set
tothe same source level adjustment volume
automatically.
!DVDand the optional DVD player are set to
thesame source level adjustment volume
automatically.
!Externalunit 1 and external unit 2 are set to
thesame source level adjustment volume
automatically.
!AUX(auxiliary input) and AV (AV input) are set
tothe same source level adjustment volume
automatically.
Compensating for equalizercurves (EQ-EX)
TheEQ-EX function accentuates the effects of
eachequalizer curve. Furthermore, you can
adjustbass and treble for each source when
CUSTOMcurve is selected.

2 TouchEQ-EX.
3 Touchato turn EQ-EX on.
