displayedas the level is increased or de-

creased.

abouttwo seconds from the last operation.

5 TouchSTOP to stop the test tone out-

put.

!Youcan also display the speaker output level

menuby pressing BOOST button.

!Ifneeded, select speakers and adjust their ‘ab-

solute’outputlevels. (Refer to Adjusting the

speakeroutput levels on the previous page.)

!Toadjust the speaker output levels in this

modeis the same as making the speaker out-

putlevels at SP LEVEL. Both provide the same

results.

Using the time alignment

Thetime alignment lets you adjust the dis-

tancebetween each speaker and the listening

position.

!INIT–Initial time alignment (factory set-

ting)

!AUTOTA–Time alignment created by auto

!CUSTOM–Adjusted time alignment that

youcan create for yourself

!OFF–Turn the time alignment off

!ADJUST–Adjust the time alignment as de-

sired

#Youcannot select AUTOTA if auto TAand EQ

hasnot been carried out.

#Youcannot select ADJUST when neither

FRONT-Lnor FRONT-Ris selected in POSITION.

Adjustingthe time alignment

Youcan adjust the distance between each

speakerand the selected position.

!Anadjusted time alignment is memorized

inCUSTOM.

ADJUST.
