Onlyfrequencies lower than those in the se-
lectedrange are outputted from the subwoo-
fer.
Boosting the subwoofer level
Youcan easily boost the subwoofer bass level
byrepeatedly pressing BOOST button. If the
subwooferis set to OFF, pressing BOOST but-
tonautomatically sets the subwoofer to ON.

subwooferlevel.
Thesubwoofer level 0to +6 is shown in the
display.
#Todecrease the level, press BOOST button
andhold. The subwoofer level is reset to 0and
thenyou can start again.

Youcan also select the subwoofer level in the
audiomenu. Refer to Using subwoofer output on
theprevious page.
Using nonfading output
Whenthe nonfading output setting ison, the
audiosignal does not pass through this units
lowpass filter (for the subwoofer), but is out-
puttedthrough the RCA output.

Using the high pass filter
Whenyou do not want low sounds from the
subwooferoutput frequency range to play
fromthe front or rear speakers, turn on the
HPF(high pass filter). Only frequencies higher
thanthose in the selected range are outputted
fromthe front or rear speakers.
