Switching the channel select mode

You can switch if you select a channel with a channel number or within a selected category when you select a channel.

1 Touch “FUNCTION 1” in the FUNCTION menu.

2 Touch “SEND”.

Touch “SEND” repeatedly to switch between the following channel select settings:

CH NUMBER (channel number select mode)

CATEGORY (channel category select mode)

Switching the display

1 Touch “FUNCTION 2” in the FUNCTION menu.

2 Touch “SEND”.

Each touch of “SEND” changes the informa- tion as follows:

Channel number — Channel name — Chan- nel category — Artist name/feature — Song/ program title — Composer

When you switch the display, the text is automatically scrolled.

Switching the scroll setting

1 Touch “FUNCTION 2” in the FUNCTION menu.

2 Touch and hold “SEND” to select the scroll setting.

Touch and hold “SEND” selects scroll setting in the following order:

Continuous scroll setting — One-time scroll setting

When you switch the scroll setting, the beep sounds.

Selecting a channel in the chan- nel category

1 Select the channel category select mode.

2 Touch “ESC” to return to the previous display.

3 Move the joystick up or down to select the desired channel category.

Once you select a channel category, the navi- gation unit searches for channels in that cate- gory. During search, the channel category doesn’t immediately change even if you move the joystick. To successively change the chan- nel category, hold the joystick up or down.

4 Touch or to select the desired channel in the selected channel category.

The channel number moves up or down in the selected channel category.

If channels that does not exist that channel numbers are skipped, and the next channel in that channel category is selected.

If you select a channel of another category by channel recall, etc., during steps 3 and 4, the category selected in step 3 still

remains in memory. If you touch or

, the channel number moves up or down in the category selected in step 3

regardless of the category of the present channel.
