Wireless Remote Operation

When operating the remote control, point it at the remote sensor located on the player’s front panel.The remote control can be used up to 7 m from the player and within a 30° angle each side of the sensor.

÷Exposing the remote sensor to direct sunlight or strong light may cause faulty operation.

Wired Operation

Load a disc

÷Load a disc with the label side facing up, using the disc table guide to align the disc.

PLAY

÷The disc table will close and playback will begin.

÷Press ^ on the front of the player.

÷Depending on the disc, a menu is displayed. If a menu is displayed, refer to the next page.

Note:

÷DVD discs that do not have the matching region number that allows playback can not be played (refer to the “Terms” section on page 91). (This unit’s region number is “2”.)

÷During operation, the following marks may appear on the TV screen.

: Appears when this player cannot perform the selected function.

: Appears when the disc cannot perform the selected function.
