With DVDs featuring recordings of pictures shot from different angles, you can choose any desired viewing angle
during playback.The 
mark is placed on the jacket of a DVD that has multiple angles.
If the 
mark is displayed during playback, press ANGLE .
Press ANGLE again to select the desired angle.
The angle changes each time ANGLE is pressed.

is displayed on the screen when you come to a place where multiple angles have been recorded.
÷ When the angle is switched during a pause, the pause is cleared.
÷ In some DVDs the angle can be switched also in the disc menu screen.

to be displayed, set the [Angle Indicator] to off in the initial setup menu (page 32).
DVD.
When a DVD with subtitles that have been recorded in multiple languages is being played back, the subtitles displayed can be changed.
Press SUBTITLE during playback of the
DVD.
The currently selected subtitles are displayed.
Press theSUBTITLE button again.
The subtitle display changes each time SUBTITLE is pressed.

÷To cancel the subtitles, press CLEAR after pressing SUBTITLE, or press SUBTITLE and select [OFF].
÷In some DVDs subtitle can be switched also in the disc menu screen. In that case, press MENU and select after the menu is displayed. (page 17)
÷The subtitle language here is temporary. When playback has been stopped, it returns to the subtitle language se- lected by [Subtitle Language] (page 33) of the initial setup menu.
