6.1Carrying Accessories

There are a variety of carrying accessories to help the operator work safely and comfortably with the Ikôn.

Important: Do not use adhesives such as Loctite to secure screws on carrying accesso- ries. These chemicals may damage the plastic casing.

6.1.1Attaching The Handstrap With Tether (Model No. CH6021)

The handstrap with tether can be attached to the back of the Ikôn to provide a secure means for operators to carry the PDA.

Attaching The Handstrap

The handstrap is attached by fixing the ends of the strap to the anchors located on the back and bottom of the unit (see Figure 6.1 on page 212).
