CH4004 Quad Docking Station

Try inserting a battery that you know to be working in the charger slot.

Disconnect and reconnect the DC adaptor, and check that the spare battery LED indica- tor flashes at power-up.

If the charge slot fails to charge the known working battery, it is defective and requires service.

6.6CH4004 Quad Docking Station

Important: The CH4000 desktop docking station is shipped with its own quick refer- ence guide. It is critical that it be reviewed for additional information and updates.

The CH4004 Quad Docking Station (Figure 6.6 on page 227) is a desktop model designed to accept as many as four Ikôn Rugged PDAs. The docking station powers the Ikôns and their internal battery charger. The docking station also connects from one to four Ikôns to a 10/100 Base-T Ethernet network and allows for Ethernet data transfer.

6.6.1Operator Controls

The CH4004 has no operator controls or power switch.

6.6.2Indicators

The quad docking station has two rear Ethernet LEDs and no front LEDs.
