Moving and Transporting the Printer
RCAUTION:
•It is recommended that at least two persons are used to lift the machine. Otherwise, the machine might fall and cause personal injury.
•When lifting the machine, use the inset grips on both sides of the machine. Otherwise, the machine might fall and cause personal injury.
•When you move the machine, unplug the power cord from the wall socket to avoid a fire or an electric shock.
•When you pull out the plug from the socket, grip the plug to avoid damaging the cord and causing a fire or an electric shock.
•When moving the printer, be sure to keep it level to avoid spilling the fuser oil. If oil is spilt, wipe it with alkaline cleaner. Otherwise, the oily surfaces can create the danger of slipping and personal injury.
Important
❒Be sure to disconnect all cables from the printer before transporting it.
❒The printer is a precision piece of machinery. Take care to avoid damage dur- ing shipment.
