Changing the Operation

Sound Setting (BEEP

SOUND)

During operations, the camera makes three types of sounds - start sound, shutter release sound, and beep sound.

Start sound	: Sound when the camera power
	is turned on.
Shutter release sound	: Sound when the shutter release
	button is pressed.
Beep sound	: Shot images are recorded imme-
	diately in the internal memory or
	on an SD memory card. At
	recording, the camera makes a
	short beep.

You can change the setting to mute these operation sounds.

Possible Settings

SHUTTER

ON (all sounds on) *Initial setting at purchase

OFF (all sounds off)

To change the setting of operation sound, fol- low the steps below.

1. Turn the Mode Dial to 1 (Setup Mode).

The Setup Screen appears.

2. Press the " button to select [BEEP SOUND].

3. Press the #$ buttons to select the desired setting.

This setting will be used until you change it.

Changing Image Confir- mation Time (LCD CON- FIRM.)

Immediately after pressing the shutter button, the still image taken is displayed for a moment so you can check it.

At purchase, Confirmation Time is set to one second, but this can be changed.

Possible Settings

OFF (Photo not displayed for confirmation)

1 Minute (Default)

2Seconds

3Seconds

To change Confirmation Time, follow the steps below.

1. Turn the Mode Dial to 1 (Setup Mode).

The Setup Screen appears.

2. Press the " button to select [LCD CONFIRM.].

3. Press the #$ buttons to select the desired setting.

This setting will be used for shooting until you change it.
