Changing the AF Auxiliary Light Setting (AF Aux. Light)

You can set whether to use the AF auxiliary light when shooting with auto focus.

When [AF Aux. Light] is set to [On], the AF auxiliary light lights and the auto focus distance is measured when shooting in dark surroundings and when it is difficult for the camera to measure the auto focus distance.

To change the AF auxiliary light setting, follow the steps below.

1Display the setup menu.

2Press the " button to select [AF Aux. Light] and press the $ button.

3Press the !" buttons to select the desired setting.

4Press the MENU/OK button, or press the # button and then the MENU/OK button.
