MULTIPLE CONTROLLERS WITH TWO TUNERS

System with two CAM6.6X (internal tuner) controllers

The configuration below is suitable for 7-12 zones that will have access to the tuner in the controller to which its keypad is connected only. Built-in tuners are always Source 1 and cannot be changed. If you have more than one internal tuner, you must set each tuner to its specific Controller ID number. If you want each con- troller to have access to dual tuners, a suggested solution is to use an ST2 Dual Tuner with two CAM6.6s as shown on the next page.

CAM6.6X (1) -

Controller Setup Menu: Controller ID = 1

Peripheral Setup Menu: Controller ID = 1

CAM6.6X (2) -

Controller Setup Menu: Controller ID = 2

Peripheral Setup Menu: Controller ID = 2

A CAT-5 patch cable is use to connect the RNET Link Out of Controller 1 to the RNET Link In of Controller 2.
