Connecting the Video Cable (DVD-R2000 + TV)
Method 1 : 525P( Progressive Scan) Component Video
If your TV has Component(Progressive Scan) video, use a video-grade cable for Y, PBand PR
connections. Note that it is essential to match the color coded connection with a compatible.
This connection provides optimum video quality.
Method 2 : 525I(Interlace Scan) Component Video
If your TV has Component(Interlace Scan) video, use a video-grade cable for Y, PBand PRcon-
nections. Note that it is essential to match the color coded connection.
This connection provides high video quality.
Method 3 : S-Video
If your TV doesnt have component video, use the S-Video or the basic video connection.
If your TV has S-Video Input jack, connect the S-Video cable to the S-Video Output jack on the
back of your DVD-R2000 and to the S-Video jack on your TV.
This connection provides increased video quality.
Method 4 : Basic video connection
If your TV doesnt have S-Video, use the basic video connection.
Connect the video cable(yellow) to the Video Output jack on the back of your DVD-R2000 and
to the Video jack on your TV.
