When entering text with the keypad, you can use the following modes depending on the selected input language:

Mode	Function
	1.	Select appropriate virtual keys to
		enter pinyins.
Pinyin	2.	To enter phrases, select Div and enter
		more pinyins.
	3.	Select a pinyin.
	4.	Select a character from the list.
	1.	Select appropriate virtual strokes.
		Select ? when you are unsure which
		stroke to enter. This will insert a
Stroke		placeholder.
	2.	To enter phrases, select Div and enter
		more strokes.
	3.	Select a character from the list.

Mode	Function
	Select an appropriate virtual key until
ABC	the character you want appears on the
	display.
	1. In ABC mode, tap and hold and
	select Predictive text.
	2. Select the appropriate virtual keys to
	enter an entire word.
	3. When the word displays correctly,
T9	select to insert a space. If the
	correct word does not display, select
(Predictive
	and an alternative word from the
text)
	list that appears.
	Adding words to the T9 dictionary
	If you cannot find a word in the
	alternative word list, you can add the
	word to the T9 dictionary. Select Add
	word at the bottom of the alternative
	word list.
