Changing Settings

To change the folder to receive files or to transmit image files from a digital camera to the computer, click on Start > Control Panel > Printers and Other Hardware > Wireless Connect and change the settings.

When unable to establish an infrared communication:

❶Check your BIOS Setup.

1)Turn the computer on and press the F2 key to enter the BIOS Setup.

2)Select I/O Device Configuration in the Advanced menu and press the Enter key.

3)Select IRDA Device, and press the F5 or F6 key to set it to Enabled.

4)Save the settings and exit Setup.

❷Check the Windows settings.

1)Click Start > Control Panel > Performance and

Maintenance > System > Hardware tab > Device Manger.

2)Double-click on the 'SMC IrCC - Fast Infrared Port' item below the 'IrDA Device' item.

3)In the Properties field in the Advanced tab, select 'Infrared' and select 'HP' in the Value field.

4)Click the OK button.
