Installing DV Media Pro 1.0

You need to install DV Media Pro 1.0 to play back recorded movie files or the transferred data from the camera with the USB cable on your PC.

Before your start!

◆Turn on your PC. Exit all other applications running.

◆Insert the provided CD into the CD-ROM drive.

The setup screen appears automatically soon after the CD was inserted. If the setup screen does not appear, click on the “Start” on the bottom left corner and select “Run…” to display a dialog. Type “D:\autorun.exe” and then press ENTER, if your CD-ROM drive is mapped to “D:\”.

Installing Driver - DV Driver and DirectX 9.0

◆DV Driver is a software driver that is required to support establishing connection to a PC. (If it is not installed, some functions

will not be supported.)

1.Click on “DV Driver” on the Setup screen.

◆Driver software required is installed automatically. Following drivers will be installed:

-USB Removable storage device driver (Windows 98SE only)

-USB PC-CAMERA driver

2.Click on <Confirm> to finish driver installation.

◆Windows 98 users need to restart the PC.

3.Click on “DirectX 9.0” on the Setup screen.

◆After installing DirectX 9.0, PC needs to restart.

◆If DirectX is installed already, there is no need to restart of PC.

Application Installation - Video Codec

◆Click on “Video Codec” on the Setup screen.

CODEC is required to play movie files recorded by Miniket Photo on a PC.

DV Media Pro 1.0 installieren

Zur Wiedergabe aufgenommener Videos oder der über das USB-Kabel von der Kamera übertragenen Daten muss DV Media Pro 1.0 auf dem PC installiert sein.

Vor dem start!

◆Schalten Sie den PC ein. Beenden Sie alle anderen Anwendungen.

◆Legen Sie die Software-CD in das CD-ROM-Laufwerk Ihres Computers ein.

Nach dem Einlegen der CD wird automatisch der Setup-Bildschirm angezeigt. Wenn der Setup-Bildschirm nicht angezeigt wird, öffnen Sie das Startmenü von Windows, und wählen Sie die Optio “Ausführen…”. Ein Dialogfeld wird angezeigt. Wenn Ihrem CD-ROM-Laufwerk der Buchstabe “D:\” zugewiesen wurde, geben Sie “D:\autorun.exe” ein, und drücken Sie die Eingabetaste.

Treiber installieren : DV-Treiber und DirectX 9.0

◆Der DV Driver (DV-Treiber) ist ein Softwaretreiber, der zur Herstellung einer Verbindung zu einem Computer benötigt wird. (Wenn er nicht installiert ist, werden manche Funktionen möglicherweise nicht unterstützt.)

1.Klicken Sie auf dem Setup-Bildschirm auf “DV Driver” (DV-Treiber).

◆Die benötigte Treibersoftware wird automatisch installiert. Folgende Treiber werden installiert:

-Treiber für USB-Wechseldatenträger (nur Windows® 98SE)

-Treiber für USB-PC-Kamera

2.Klicken Sie auf <Confirm> (OK), um die Installation der Treiber zu fertig zu stellen.

◆Bei Verwendung von Windows 98 muss der Computer neu gestartet werden.

3.Klicken Sie auf dem Setup-Bildschirm auf “DirectX 9.0”.

◆Nach der Installation von DirectX muss der Computer neu gestartet werden.

◆Falls DirectX bereits installiert war, muss der Computer nicht neu gestartet werden.

Anwendungsinstallation : Video Codec

◆Klicken Sie auf dem Setup-Bildschirm auf “Video Codec” (Video- Codec).

Der Codec wird zur Wiedergabe der mit dem Miniket Photo aufgenommenen

Videodateien benötigt.
