Print Speed

Command Structure <ESC>CSa

a= Designates the speed selection See Note 2 for allowable settings

Example:

<ESC>CS6

Placement:

Must be placed immediately after <ESC>A and

 

immediately before <ESC>Z in its own separate data stream

Default:

As previously set in the printer configuration

Command Function To specify a unique print speed through software for a particular label. This allows flexibility in finding the best performance and quality for the particular label format, media, and ribbon. All subsequent labels will print at this speed unless the speed is changed with this command or through the Operator Panel.

Printer Output

There is no printer output for this command. It sets the print speed of

 

the printer.

 

 

 

 

 

Special Notes

1. This becomes the new setting in the printer configuration for all

 

subsequent print jobs, unless changed. The setting is stored in

 

non-volatile memory and is not affected by cycling the power.

 

2. The allowable Print Speed settings are as follows:
