6.3.8E-Mail Configuration

Clicking the E-Mail Config menu opens the window shown in Figure 6-14.

When certain faults occur and are detected by the ELS, it can automatically send an E-mail to a selected E-mail address containing an error message in plain language. Before an E-mail can be sent, it must be configured in this window and be activated in the "Event Configuration Menu".

●E-Mail Address

Here, you enter the E-mail address to which an E-mail will be sent if an error occurs (a maximum of 63 characters).

●"From" - Field

Address of the sender of the E-mail. Depending on the type and configuration of the SMTP server it may be necessary to configure the sender address (maximum of 63 characters).
