12.6. Stored Profile Settings for CDPD Mode

The CDPD mode stores a factory profile and a user profile. The user profile is a copy of the settings at the time the &W (Write the Active Profile) command is issued.

The following elements are saved with &W (Write the Active Profile) and recalled with Z (Reset to Stored Profile) or &F (Factory Settings Restore):

Note that there is a minor bug with revision 1.3.5 and earlier firmware. The saved profile will include the settings of S31 (Logic Sleep) and +WS214 (Booster Enable) but these two registers are not restored with the ATZ command. They are restored when the modem is reset or power cycled.

The following settings are saved in non-volatile RAM at the time the command is issued. &W, Z, and &F have no effect on these:
